This collection contains business correspondence, deeds, and other records, as well as family correspondence. There is material on early trips to England and Cuba, Bartlett's claim for compensation because of illegal seizure of his ship by the King of Naples, and correspondence outlining his economic ties with his brother, George, and his son, Edward, who owned a sugar mill in Cuba.
